How to Make a Top Performing Google Ad
For most people, Google Ads are a mystery—and even if you know how to create one, it doesn’t mean it will perform well. We decided to share some insights that can help you level up your Google Ads!
Top performing ads use the words “your,” “free,” “now,” and “our.”
These words attract attention, so use a combination of at least two of these words in your ad copy. Bonus if you can use all four! You also want to make sure these words show up early in your copy to hook potential customers.
The top performing call to action is “get.”
People want to “get” something from your ad, so you should give it to them! Whether it’s “get valuable expertise” or “get our freebie,” when it comes to getting, customers will click for it.
The tone of the ad should be positive.
Your product or service might solve a problem, but you don’t want the problem to be the focus of your ad. Instead, focus on solution-oriented language and the highlights of your business. Positive words evoke positive emotions that users will connect to your brand!
The text should be written at a 9th grade reading level.
Most people who could use your product or service will not be industry experts. Technical jargon can be confusing, and it obscures your value. Communicate what you do and why someone needs it in clear, concise language.
Even when you have the tools, sometimes you just don’t want to do it yourself! We get it—let’s chat!
